These shoes are truly a piece of history. I believe they are from the 1940\'s or so.
I traced the shoemaker to Detroit, MI and found a postcard from his shop. This will be sent with the shoes. I also will email you a pdf of a newspaper article from the Michigan Tradesman (dated 9.05.1917) about the opening of the shop. Amazing to see shoes this old.
